The first day of school is something very special.
In Germany, there is a tradition of giving children a large bag (70 cm long plus closure) when they start school. This bag is made of cardboard and has a special print and here is an application made of real tulle, the ballerina's TuTu!
Parents fill this bag with small gifts for school (e.g. erasers, special pencils, sharpeners, etc.) and sweets. A beautiful tradition that will certainly please children all over the world and make the first day of school unforgettable.
